It is very important that all information provided is up to date and correct as any incorrect or missing information will result in the application being rejected and money paid to process the application forfeited.

This does vary from person to person and can depend on certain factors. On average it takes one week for a DBS to process, but this time can be longer or shorter. You will be provided with a tracking number once in process so you can track the progress of you DBS.

Yes. Once processing has finished by the DBS, we will receive a report with information indicative of your DBS, and you will receive your copy within 14 days of this report being generated.

Please contact one of the recruitment team who will be able to share a form with you that can be completed online. There is a 60 day window in which to report your DBS as not issued so do not delay if you have not received the certificate within 14 days.

You can only use a DBS we process for you with another employer if you subscribe to the Update Service. This subscription cost £13 per year and will make your DBS live so an employer can check if the DBS information remains current. This also means, so long as you keep up your annual subscription, we will not have to process a new DBS again for you.

Yes, it is very important you look after your certificate. Without this, your subscription is invalid as a new employer will ask to see this.
